1. Requests and approval
Contact [email protected] or use an available refund request control. Identify the transaction, reason, and whether the request concerns a subscription or a purchased credit top-up. We inspect payment history, timing, usage, pending work, service failures, previous refunds and suspected abuse. Discretionary refunds are paid only after inspection and approval; a request is not approval. We accept support requests without a universal cutoff and target an initial response within five business days, subject to any shorter applicable legal deadline.
2. Active subscriptions with usage
If approved, the ordinary product refund equals the actual discounted subscription payment (tax handled separately) multiplied by the lower of the unused billing-period proportion and unused subscription-credit proportion. We calculate it when approval takes effect, using the actual paid period and its credit allocation. Signup credits and unrelated top-ups do not count as subscription usage. We settle pending work and distinguish temporary reservations from consumed credits.
For example, if half the paid period and three-quarters of its credits remain, the ordinary refund is half the eligible product payment. Exhausted subscription credits leave no ordinary unused-credit refund. Previous refunds are reconciled to prevent duplicate reimbursement; there is no additional credit deduction after applying this formula.
3. Non-use and completed periods
A subscription with no credit consumption receives separate discretionary review, considering other service use, elapsed time, renewal circumstances and request timing. A full or partial refund may be approved; non-use alone creates no automatic entitlement. Ordinary portal requests are available only for the current verified paid subscription period. A completed or previous period cannot be requested through that control, including after you start a new period.
Contact support separately about exceptional non-use, erroneous or unauthorized billing, service failures or mandatory remedies involving an earlier period. The portal restriction does not remove legal rights.
4. Purchased credit top-ups
Top-up refunds are based only on the specific purchase and attributable unused credits. If approved, the ordinary product refund is the actual discounted purchase price multiplied by its unused-credit proportion, after reconciling previous refunds. Subscription days do not apply. We use purchase and usage evidence, not the combined wallet balance alone. Ambiguous attribution requires manual review; signup credits are not purchased top-ups.
5. Errors, failures and mandatory rights
Billing errors, unauthorized charges, service failures and statutory cancellation/quality remedies are reviewed independently. Required remedies override ordinary formulas and discretion. We do not force a legally required monetary refund into account credits. Provider processing limits do not extinguish a refund owed by law. A dispute or external refund requires reconciliation so the same payment is not reimbursed twice.
6. Cancellation and effect of approval
Cancelling future renewal is free and normally preserves access through the paid period. Requesting a refund or receiving a rejection is also free. An approved subscription refund ends the refunded paid access and renewal and retires its remaining monthly credits, preserving unrelated purchased credits. An approved top-up refund retires only the credits corresponding to the refunded amount and does not cancel an unrelated subscription. Refunds do not themselves delete your documents; the normal access lifecycle applies.
7. Amounts, processing and confirmation
No processing-cost deduction is currently enabled: the deduction is zero. We explain the decision, any partial calculation, prior refunds, applicable tax adjustment and affected access/credits before initiation. Approved monetary refunds are submitted through Dodo to the original payment method, with applicable tax adjustments. Provider submission and bank posting are different stages; posting times vary. We provide available confirmation or a bank reference and explain any lawful alternative if the original method cannot receive the refund.
Dodo documents a default refund-initiation window of 30 days, subject to the applicable account arrangements. This is separate from ordinary subscription eligibility and is not a universal deadline for contacting us. Contact support promptly when the portal option is unavailable; we review provider escalation and mandatory remedies rather than assuming the claim has expired.
8. Operators and changes
HussleBook is a product/trading name. In these policies, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operators of the service. For support, privacy requests and customer grievances, contact [email protected].
Material changes are notified before applying to affected purchases; we do not impose new deductions retroactively. See the Terms and Privacy Policy.
